VAS service is a telecommunication term for non-core services – service beyond the standard voice calls. This includes advanced messaging services (SMS) and data services (WAP).

Mira Networks works with content providers, acting as the VAS Provider as part of our role as technology service provider. We enable our clients to offer Premium SMS Services.

USSD


Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) utilises the signalling channels of a cellular network in order to transmit data. USSD costs are considerably lower than those of SMS services as they are typically charged per minute.

USSD applications are ideal for marketing, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, information services, surveys, business applications, system support, etc.
